Are there any rapids on the Day 1 ‘Postcard Alley’ race?
There are no rapids but you may encounter ripples, waves, and eddys.

Are there any rocks?
Probably, so just be careful.  The Colorado is a big high volume river, staying in the current is the key.

Should I wear a leash?
Yes, their is wind and currents.  It is not mandatory but definitely advisable.

What time does the race start?
All Racers should be at starting line by 1:30 pm, MDT. Start line is Dewey Bridge which is MP 29.8 on Hwy 128

Will there be day of tickets?
Yes. You can purchase them at these places and times.

Refund and Transfer Policy?
There is a NO REFUND and NO TRANSFER policy. Sorry no exceptions, it’s a safety, insurance, and courtesy thing.

How do I get to the start and back to my car after?
All racers go to the start. Shuttle will be provided to get you back to your vehicle after the race.

Can I bring my dog?
Dogs must be on leash. You must start at the very back of the start pack and ensure your dog doesn’t interfere. If you bring a dog please take care of your dog so they will not be banned in the future.

What should I wear?
Check the forecast but dress for the water. You should be dressed prepared to take a swim.

Where do I sleep?
Moab has plenty of BLM campsites along Hwy 128(River Road). There is also camping at Hittle Bottom but comes is on a “first come 1st serve” basis.  The town of Moab has lots of hotels as well.
