Paddle with the Badfish Team
Join Badfish SUP Team paddlers and co-owners of RVR2VR, Natali Zollinger & Brittany Parker for a whitewater clinic down the daily section of the Colorado River in Moab, Utah. You will learn all the techniques needed to navigate class 1-3 whitewater with confidence. We will cover everything from river gear and safety, reading whitewater, peel outs and ferries, eddy hopping, footwork through rapids, bracing, and surfing waves on the fly.
This is not for the beginner paddler. Knowledge of basic strokes, falling + remounting on your board, as well as a comfort swimming in water is necessary. We will also practice and go over swift water swimming/falling techniques throughout the day so proper gear to keep you warm and comfortable is required.
Badfish SUP + RVR2RVR partnered back in 2015 to help bring SUP Instruction and Education to rivers and communities all across the country. With 20+ years river experience between both Brittany and Natali, they consider themselves stewards of the river. With their partnership, both Badfish SUP + RVR2RVR hope to travel around the world providing paddlers with the proper tools to understand, protect, and enjoy their local waterways.
Badfish SUP was born in 2009 by founders Mike Harvey + Zach Hughes. It is a unique company that houses some of the top paddlers in the river world, creating some of the most high-performance and innovative designs for river surfing and downriver paddling. Recently they have since expanded their line outside of the river scene and into touring & ocean surfing inflatable designs.
